Southampton threw away a two-goal lead at home to concede three goals in the space of eight second-half minutes.

Dušan Tadić and Jan Bednarek put Saints two up before goals from Olivier Giroud (2) & Eden Hazard hit back for Chelsea to win.

Southampton manager Mauricio Pellegrino has said that defender Virgil van Dijk will train alone and has asked to leave. "He is not involved with the team because psychologically he is not 100%," said the Saints boss. "When I was talking with him, the boy said that he is not available to play because he wants to leave. "I need to work with a player that works at 100% to defend Southampton. "This is the decision.
