Southampton lost 4-2 at Stamford Bridge to Premier League leaders Chelsea. Saints performed well in the first half and had got the game back to 1-1 when Oriol Romeu netted against his former side to cancel out Eden Hazard's opener. But the Saints went in at half time a goal down as Gary Cahill powered home a header just before the break.
